Arcanaform v1 is a public web product. You can read, keep, study, and journal without creating an account. There are no Profiles or Spaces as cloud identity in v1, and no sign-in wall for ordinary use.

When you choose Keep this reading, that reading and related journal entries — including intentions, observations, reflections, and formulations — are stored locally in this browser on this device (IndexedDB). Arcanaform does not currently provide cloud backup or synchronization of your journal. Clearing site data, switching browsers, or losing the device can erase local history unless you have exported a backup.

You can download an Arcanaform archive backup, import/replace from a prior backup, and delete individual readings or all local journal history from Journal (and related controls on Credits). Export and import operate on your device; the archive file contents are not uploaded to Arcanaform as part of those actions.

Preferences and any locally installed portable decks are outside the canonical archive backup boundary and are described on the Journal backup surface.

Private reflective content remains local and is not included in product analytics.

Delivering the website necessarily involves normal request and network information — for example IP address, user agent, requested URLs, and timing — processed by the hosting provider and related infrastructure. That is ordinary web operation, not journal storage.

Separately from your journal, Arcanaform may use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand ordinary site and product use — for example whether people arrive, begin or complete readings, keep readings, open Journal or Study, choose a public deck or spread, and use export or import. This runs only after you choose Allow analytics.

Until you allow analytics, Arcanaform does not load the Google Analytics script. Advertising storage and personalization remain denied. Arcanaform does not use Google Signals, remarketing, User-ID, or advertising features for v1.

Product events intentionally exclude intention text, journal prose, observations, reflections, formulations, archive file contents, and card-draw details. Analytics cookies or similar storage may be set by Google only after you allow analytics. Analytics failure must not interrupt reading or journaling.
